Travel

  • By train

There are three main train stations in Birmingham city centre that provide convenient access to the ICC, with Birmingham New Street Station being the closest, all within walking distance. A tram service linking Birmingham to Wolverhampton stops at Centenary Square, right outside the venue.

  • By car

The ICC is easily accessible from major motorways including the M6, M5 and M42, making it simple to reach by road. A wide range of public parking is available nearby, with the closest facilities situated at the Utilita Arena Birmingham on King Edward’s Road (B1 2AA).

The venue and most nearby car parks lie inside Birmingham’s Clean Air Zone, where daily charges apply to vehicles that do not meet the set emissions standards.

  • On foot

Walking routes to the ICC are well‑signposted and scenic, passing by city landmarks such as the Library of Birmingham and the Rep Theatre. Guests arriving from the city centre can follow clear signage to Centenary Square before heading directly to the venue entrance.

  • By air

For visitors arriving by plane, Birmingham Airport offers a direct rail link to Birmingham New Street Station that typically takes around ten minutes. Taxis are also available directly outside the airport terminal.

Sustainability

Airmic champions strategic value of risk management and insurance in a changing world.

We believe in a world where there is balance between economic growth, environmental care, and social well-being. You find these beliefs embedded in everything we do – including this conference.

Sustainability has never been a box-ticking exercise for the ICC. It’s something they believe passionately in, both as a venue, but more importantly as individuals. They also believe it’s key to achieving long-term growth for both customers and themselves, which is why it’s embedded into all daily operations.

They’re proud to hold the ISO 14001:2004 accreditation for environment management systems, and have rolled out several different initiatives across the business to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability.
